Two-time Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali (“Green Book” “Moonlight”) will play Blade, replacing Wesley Snipes as the vampire-hunter in the iconic Marvel comic book role. Recently announced at San Diego Comic Con, Blade in 1998 was one of the successful pre-Marvel Cinematic Universe films, eventually grossing $70 million. Snipes is apparently ready to relinquish the part, despite pushing to reprise his role in recent years, telling freaking out fans to “chillax.”
Kardashian works to get A$AP Rocky freed
Kim Kardashian is at it again, pushing the President Trump to reach out to Sweden in hopes of freeing rapper A$AP Rocky from a Swedish jail. Now charged with assault, Rocky will remain in jail, despite the effort, until he goes to trial next week. Other fans, however, say jail time might remind the rapper of the time he declined to support social justice causes like police brutality
